We are small family based Real Estate Company offering services in Sales, Rentals and Appraisals which began in 1971 when the founder Harry S. Jones III branched out on his own after leaving a good job with GMAC for 11 years. The business started behind a counter in Jones' Market in Surry by Harry and his wife Elaine. Later moved to High Street and for the past 27 years we have worked out of232 Main Street in Ellsworth, last year our business turned 40 years in serving Real Estate needs. His daughter Jennifer joined him in 1978, currently has her R.E. Broker's license and is a Certified Residential Appraiser with 3 other appraisers and an administrative assistant covering Hancock and Washington Counties. His daughter Emilie joined him in 1984, she is the Designated Broker, she sells Real Estate and manages the 6 sales people, but she also handles many of the rental inquires and day to day procedures along with an administrative assistant. In all, we've grown from 1 person to 3 Brokers, 3 sales people, 4 appraisers, 2 assistants and 3 maintenance men and we're still growing. Oh yeah, can't forget Harry's favorite assistant, Shadow, you'll see them riding around appraising, selling something or just walking to the bank.
