ELLSWORTH — The Ellsworth Eagle boys continued to win on Friday as the swam their way to a 95-55 victory over the Hampden Broncos at the James Russell Wiggins Down East Family YMCA pool.

BANGOR — Members of the Down East YMCA Dolphins set four swim records, one of them a new state record, in competition at the Bangor YMCA on Saturday.

BaltUCKSPORT — Senior Jordan Lord of the George Stevens Academy Eagles was named Wrestler of the Meet after outpointing the reigning Class C state champion in three overtimes at Saturday’s Penobscot Valley Conference Wrestling Championships.

BANGOR — The Ellsworth Eagles and the Deer Isle-Stonington Mariners took top honors and the Sumner Tigers were runners-up Saturday in the Eastern Maine Cheering Championships at the Bangor Auditorium.
