ELLSWORTH — The Hancock County Adult Drug Treatment Court held two graduation ceremonies for three participants in May. Amanda Holland graduated on Friday, May 3, and Steven Sullivan and Shawn Poliquin both graduated on Friday, May 17. Ceremonies took place in the Superior Court in Ellsworth, at the conclusion of the regular bimonthly drug court sessions.
LAMOINE — William Henry Parkinson, often called “Parky” or “Bill” of Lamoine, passed on with love and family at his side in his 87th year of life, May 17, 2013. Bill was born April 29, 1926, in Fall River, Mass., son of William Henry and Ida (Savard) Parkinson.
PENOBSCOT — Kathleen Hope Jones, 80, died peacefully in her sleep on Mother’s Day, May 12, 2013, at her home. She was born Aug. 19, 1932, in Oakfield, daughter of George and Margaret (Pratt) Richards.
