SALISBURY COVE and BONITA SPRINGS, FLA. — Leonard “Lenny” Devereaux Perkins, 88, died June 14, 2013, at his home in Maine surrounded by his loving family. He was born Feb. 14, 1925, in Penobscot the son of Harold and Gladys (Devereaux) Perkins.
OTIS — Daniel J. Merchant, 18, died unexpectedly June 13, 2013. He was born Feb. 28, 1995, and is survived by his parents, Lawrence and Angel Merchant; brother, Matthew Merchant; grandparents, Bea and Larry Merchant and Herb and Barb Weiss; aunt and uncle Clint and Emily Weiss along with many close friends and family. Although we don’t know why you did what you did or why God took you so soon, we do know that we will see you again in Heaven. So we will hope, through our tears and have faith, though our hearts are breaking. We love you so much and will miss you every day until we see you again.
ELLSWORTH — A graveside service with military honors for Ralph A. Moore, 86, who died Nov. 25, 2012, will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, June 22, 2013, at Woodbine Cemetery, Ellsworth.
SURRY — A Trenton man died early Sunday morning after his car went off the road and struck an embankment and several trees, the Hancock County Sheriff’s Department reported.
BUCKSPORT and CRAIG POND — Genevieve Oliver Mercer, 89, passed away peacefully June 15, 2013, at a Bangor hospital. Genevieve was born Dec. 21, 1923, in Millinocket, the daughter of William W. and Mildred (French) Oliver.
