Jeanne was the author of “Nine Boats & Nine Kids,” founder of Pine Tree Day Nursery in Riverhead, N.Y., and of Halfway Brook campground in Bernard. She was an avid gardener, reader, boats-woman and dancer, affectionately known as the “Dancing Queen” of Great Guana Cay.
