JONESPORT — Noah Leighton scored a first-half goal and the Mariners made it stand up in a 1-0 shutout of the Jonesport-Beals Royals on Thursday.
SULLIVAN — Dan Weinberg had a pair of goals and an assist and Schuyler Van der Eb and Jesus Hernares had single tallies as the GSA Eagles downed the host Sumner Tigers 4-1 on Thursday.
BAR HARBOR — The Mount Desert Island Trojans had their way with the Ellsworth Eagles on Thursday, rolling to a 3-0 win with scores of 15-20 and 25-7 and, in an extremely competitive third game, 30-28.
BUCKSPORT — The Calais Blue Devils nipped the Golden Bucks 3-2 on Thursday, winning the first game 25-21, then dropping the next two 25-23 and 25-19 before closing out with wins of 26-13 and 15-6.
EAST MACHIAS — The Washington Academy Raiders bested the Sumner Tigers 3-0 on Thursday at East Machias, winning by game scores of 25-18, 25-7 and 25-9.
MACHIAS — The Golden Bucks evened their record at 1-1 on Wednesday with a 3-1 win over the Machias Bulldogs.
