ELLSWORTH — Logan Stanley pitched a no-hitter as Bucksport rolled over Ellsworth to win the Little League District 1 baseball championship for ages 10-11 on Saturday in Ellsworth.

AUBURN — Ellsworth’s District 1 champions remained in contention for the state Little League softball title for ages 9-10 after splitting two games over the weekend.

ELLSWORTH — The Trenton Acadians defeated Motor City of Bangor 15-5 Monday in the final game of the regular American Legion Zone 1 baseball season.

altBANGOR — The Ellsworth Junior League All-stars broke open what had been a close game with 15 runs in the fourth inning to claim the District 1 championship with a 19-4 win over Calais at Husson University on Thursday.

ELLSWORTH — Runners in Maine’s first all-night relay race will begin leaving the Washington Junction starting line at 5 p.m. on Friday, July 25.

ELLSWORTH — The 23rd annual Bootin’ Eagle Soccer Camp for boys and girls from kindergarten through grade 12 will be held in July and August at the Ellsworth High School practice soccer field.
