MOUNT DESERT — The Police Department here will replace two of its outdated speed-monitoring radar units with help from the Maine Bureau of Highway Safety. The bureau’s grant of $2,000 will cover half the cost of the two new units. Under the terms of the grant, the town must purchase Stalker brand radar units.
