Narraguagus announces honor parts

HARRINGTON — Principal John Sawyer has announced the honor parts for the Class of 2013 at Narraguagus High School in Harrington.

The valedictorian is Lindsey Collora, daughter of John and Sara Collora of Columbia. The salutatorian is Lauren Ramsay, daughter of Robert Ramsay and Joan Ramsay of Addison

altCollora has been a class officer all four years of high school and is vice president of the National Honor Society. She also has been part of the DAC Student Leadership Advisory Panel for the past three years. Among the many awards and honors that Collora has received are the Golden Apple Award, Maine Principal’s Award, Phi Beta Kappa Academic Achievement Award, and numerous individual class awards.

Collora has been part of the soccer, basketball and softball teams for all four years. She plans to study physical therapy in the fall at Husson University

altRamsay has been class president all four years of high school and is president of the National Honor Society. She has been a student mentor and a member of the Math Team, French Club and Outdoor Club. She has received the Golden Apple Award as well as numerous individual class awards.

Ramsay played on the soccer, basketball and softball teams during her four years of high school.

She plans to study nursing in the fall.

Graduation exercises will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Friday, June 7, in the Charles F. Lawrence gymnasium.
