Car totaled in Blue Hill accident

BLUE HILL — A 1993 Buick was totaled Tuesday afternoon when a Beech Hill Road resident backed out of his driveway and struck an oncoming car.

According to Hancock County Sheriff Deputy Luke Gross, James Jafray, 93, of Blue Hill was exiting his driveway at about 12:30 p.m. Tuesday when his Buick collided with a 2001 Hyundai operated by Brian Rankin, 41, of Sedgwick.

A passenger in the Hyundai complained of neck pain and was transported to the hospital for an evaluation.
