ELLSWORTH — Slippery driving conditions Sunday caused a 2010 Audi driven by a Deer Isle woman to leave Route 1 in Orland and strike a tree. The driver, Karin Sanborn, 48, was not injured. The vehicle sustained extensive damage to the front passenger side, according to the report.
On Monday, Danielle Morong, no age given, of Lisbon was driving on the Toddy Pond Road in Surry when she lost control of her 2005 Dodge on a snow-covered corner. The vehicle went into a spin before hitting a sign and traveling down an embankment. No injuries were reported.
A 2008 Toyota pickup is considered a total loss after the driver lost control of the vehicle Feb. 13 on a curve in Sullivan.
Mark Harrell, 48, of Milbridge was westbound on Route 1 when the truck left the road and rolled over and traveled down an embankment. Harrell complained of being sore but declined medical treatment, Deputy Shane Campbell reported.
