ELLSWORTH - Ellsworth road crews were out all night Saturday and into Sunday morning clearing main roads and byways in the wake of steady, drifting snows that began before midnight and continued through late Sunday morning.

Hancock County residents were out much of the morning digging or snowblowing out from under several inches of snow. Ellsworth police reported no storm-related accidents or incidents. The forecast calls for blowing snow Sunday afternoon and a blustery northeast wind. Monday should be sunny, clear and cold.
