College of the Atlantic has announced that Anthony Mazlish has joined its board of trustees and that Stephen Milliken has rejoined the board. Mazlish is the chairman and CEO of Healthy Back Store, LLC, a national chain of retail stores dedicated to providing product solutions to help prevent and alleviate back and neck pain. Milliken is a senior judge in the Superior Court of the District of Columbia.
Mazlish, who spent summers in Seal Harbor as a child, comes to Mount Desert Island for at least a month every summer from his home in the Washington, D.C., area. He sits on the board of the Barnsley Foundation and the clothing manufacturer Rockhopper Group, LLC, and is a member of the Young Presidents Organization.
Milliken is a founding partner of Milliken, Van Sustern & Canan, P.C., and a former adjunct professor at the Georgetown University Law Center. In 1996, he became the first presiding judge of the newly created Domestic Violence Unit of the D.C. Superior Court.
