BLUE HILL — On Wednesday, Aug. 15, at 7 p.m. at the Blue Hill Consolidated School cafeteria the Toddy Pond Association will welcome Jean Adamson, a turtle enthusiast.
Adamson has been rescuing injured turtles for many years. She will talk about the seven species of turtles in Maine and will discuss their natural history and biology.
She also will speak about what is and has happened with the commercial hunting of turtles.
