BUCKSPORT — Adam Goode, 28, of Bangor left the rest of the 239-runner field well behind in winning the 15th annual Bay Festival 5K road race on Saturday.
Goode, who is one of Maine’s premier runners, bested 17-year-old runner-up Tyler White of Orono by nearly two minutes with his time of 15 minutes and 28 seconds.
White finished in 17:11 and 14-year-old Kathryn Foreman of Lithia Springs, Ga., was the first female to finish, placing eighth overall in 18:38.
