Coastal Wins Little League District 1 Title for Ages 11-12

BAR HARBOR — The Coastal All-stars of the Blue Hill-Deer Isle area nipped the Acadian All-stars of Mount Desert Island 10-9 on Thursday to win the District 1 Little League baseball title for ages 11-12.

The two teams each prevailed on the other’s field as the Acadians edged Coastal 4-3 two nights earlier in Blue Hill to force Thursday’s final.
