SURRY — On Saturday, July 14, Zoe Weil, president and co-founder of the Institute for Humane Education, will present a full-day MOGO workshop at the Institute for Humane Education campus at 792 Surry Road in Surry from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
A copy of Weil’s book, “Most Good, Least Harm,” is included in the workshop registration fee.
The MOGO (most good) workshop is part retreat, part personal development, part educational experience.
Participants will be introduced to an easy-to-follow principle that Weil calls MOGO (short for “most good”). The MOGO principle is based on a very simple premise: when we do the most good and the least harm in our daily choices, acts of citizenship, community, work and volunteerism, we create a life of inner peace while contributing to the building of a peaceful, sustainable world for all.
The registration fee for the workshop is $69 until July 1 and $89 after July 9. Financial aid is available. For more information or to register, go to HumaneEducation.org or call 667-1025.
