Marie E. Milne

ELLSWORTH — Marie E. Milne, 62, went home to be with the Lord, June 17, 2012, at Courtland Rehab & Living Center, Ellsworth. She was born July 23, 1949, in Bangor, a daughter of Leland Griffin and Esthelle “Frenchie” Robertson.

Marie grew up in North Sullivan and graduated from Sumner Memorial High School in 1968. On July 30, 1965, Marie married Wayne Milne Jr. at the Sullivan Harbor Baptist Church. She was a member of Child Evangelism Fellowship and the Bible Baptist Church of Hancock. She enjoyed crocheting, painting and helping anyone who needed help, sharing her faith with people. She especially enjoyed her time with her family.

She is survived by her son, Wayne Milne III and wife, Teodora, of Ellsworth; daughter, Lindsey and husband, Jason Mallar, of Portland; grandson, Filar Mallar; brothers and sisters, Leland Griffin, Jo-Ann Coffin and husband, Walter, Joyce Levesque and husband, Rand, Bonnie Mueller, Dennis Robertson and wife, Luanne, Carol Gutierrez and husband, Joseph, Cindy Armstrong and husband, Jack, and Gary Robertson. She was predeceased by her parents; and husband, Wayne.

A service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, June 23, 2012, at the Bible Baptist Church, Hancock, with the Rev. Steve Hersey officiating. Contributions in Marie’s memory may be made to the Bible Baptist Church, P.O. Box 1, Ellsworth, ME 04605. Arrangements by Jordan-Fernald, 113 Franklin St., Ellsworth.
