MOUNT DESERT — Rebecca Brugman of Southwest Harbor will give the first of three talks entitled “Reiki 101” on Thursday, June 7, at 10 a.m., at the Northeast Harbor Library.
Reiki is a Japanese energy technique that helps ease stress, encourage relaxation, and support our body’s innate healing abilities.
Ms. Brugman also will present “Reiki 101” on Thursday, July 5, and Thursday, Aug. 2. Each participant at the talks will have the opportunity to experience a short session, which involves a non-invasive light touch at various points on the body.
