BUCKSPORT — It was another stellar effort by Adams, Bucksport’s ace righthander, in Saturday’s EM semifinal round.
Adams allowed just four hits, struck out seven and walked nobody in pitching the Bucks past the fifth-ranked Mattanawcook Academy Lynx 7-0.
Mindy Pye drove in two runs with a home run and a single and Sadie Wight doubled and singled with an RBI as Bucksport had eight hits against Mattanawcook’s Taylor Blood.
Mikaila Bisson singled twice to lead the 13-5 Lynx at the plate.
