Incumbents Returned to Office in Orland

ORLAND — Running without opposition, three incumbents were re-elected to municipal offices Tuesday.

A total of 262 Orland voters cast ballots. Selectman Ed Rankin Sr. received 243 votes, Assessor Geoff Hauger got 233 votes and David Burgess was returned to the Regional School Unit 25 Board with 226 votes.

Each seat carries a term of three years.

No one was on the ballot for a four-year term on the Fish Committee. Margaret Hanscom was elected with 31 write-in votes, while Alvion Kimball received nine write-in votes.
