WINTER HARBOR — The public is invited to join the Schoodic Education and Research Center staff on Wednesday, June 20, at 7 p.m. to celebrate the summer solstice.
The actual solstice will be marked at 7:09 p.m. and there will then be a walk to view the sunset at Schoodic Point at 8:20.
The event, which is open to the public and free of charge, will be canceled in the event of rain.
