Lady Eagles Roll Over Devils

BLUE HILL — GSA rolled to a 4-1 win over the Calais Blue Devils, losing only at second doubles, in quarterfinal action Thursday.

In singles, it was Sotherd Steer over Sarah Smith 6-0, 6-2; Charlotte Reiter over Chloe Black 6-0, 6-1; and Maddie Theoharidis over Caela Fenderson 6-0, 2-6, 6-2.

At first doubles, Ramsay Williamson and Grace Bugbee blanked Miranda McLean and Alex Lynds 6-0, 6-0.

For Calais, Ashley Reynolds and Jade Smith got past GSA’s Maggie Keating and Yi Zhang in three sets, 6-3, 3-6, 6-4.
