Lady Trojans Upset Windjammers

CAMDEN — The fifth-ranked MDI Trojans upset the number four Camden Hills Windjammers 4-1 in quarterfinal action on Wednesday.

Emma Blakeley of the Windjammers downed MDI’s Mea Clark 6-3, 6-1, but it was all Trojans the rest of the way.

In singles, it was Julia Christie over Abby Blakeley 6-3, 5-7, 6-3, and Mia Musetti over Camilla Walker 6-4, 6-1.

At doubles, Madeline Cook and Caroline Brown prevailed 6-4, 7-6 (7-2) over Christine Forcillo and Carrie Helmholz; and Dylan Stillman and Allie Stanley defeated Sam Morse and Katie Pratt 6-1, 6-4.
