ELLSWORTH — On Saturday, June 9, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., the James Russell Wiggins Down East Family YMCA will be having a camp clean-up day.
Individuals, groups and families are needed to help get the YMCA Summer Camp on Webb Pond in shape for the 2012 season.
Projects include scraping and painting, raking leaves, hauling brush, fixing screens, cleaning windows, washing floors, cutting trees and putting up tents.
Volunteers should bring work gloves and clothing that can get dirty. The Y will provide hot dogs, chips and drinks.
