HANCOCK — The Crocker House will co-sponsor a Friday, June 8, wine dinner to benefit Hancock County Habitat for Humanity’s home for the Alley family.
The Crocker House will pair selections from Devenish Wines with the dinner menu. Phil Devenish donated the wines and the Crocker House will contribute $25 to Habitat for every guest in attendance.
Dinner, which starts at 6 p.m., will cost $60 per person. The Crocker House also will have rooms available for $75, including breakfast. For further information or reservations, call the Crocker House at 422-6806.
As the Alley home nears completion, Hancock County Habitat has begun fund-raising efforts with its next project partner, the Boccia-Young family of Hancock. The family’s first fund-raiser will be a concert at Jordan’s Snack Bar on Thursday, July 19, from 6 to 9 p.m. Enjoy dinner and the guitar music of Kip Young and his band and meet the Boccia-Young family. Call the Habitat office at 667-8484 for more information.
