TRENTON — James Lee Crawford, 22, died May 27, 2012, in Trenton. He was born April 20, 1990, in Ellsworth, the son of Doreen E. Cassella and William A. Crawford, Sr.
James is survived by his parents; one sister, Vanessa R. Crawford; one brother, William A. Jr. and his wife Tia and their daughter Keira; maternal grandmother Addie R. Alley and her husband Wayne; great-grandmother, Ada E. Seavey; paternal grandmother Lyla B. Crawford; paternal grandfather Arthur R. Crawford; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his grandfather, Michael E. Cassella, Sr.; great-grandfather, David N. Seavey; stepgrandfather Raymond “Ray Ray” Heisler; and great-grandmother, Wilda N. Higgins.
Joey White was with James during his passing, just as he was their entire lives. James was especially close to Jeff and Adam Norwood, Ashton Romer, Brian Madore and many others. He loved spending time camping, boating, fishing, playing video games, listening to music and chatting on the phone.
Family and friends are invited to a remembrance of James’s life scheduled for 3 p.m. on Sunday, June 3, 2012, at the American Legion Post 207 in Trenton. Donations in memory of James may be sent to: Bill Crawford, Jr., 300 West Shore Road, Otis ME 04605.
