DEER ISLE — Sydney Ouzts pitched a pair of one-hit shutouts as the Mariners swept a doubleheader 19-0 and 21-0 over the Jonesport-Beals Royalettes on Saturday.
In the first game for the Mariners, Janelle Ciomei drove in three runs with two doubles and a single, Amber Jones had a pair of doubles and an RBI, Moriah Nutter drove in four runs with a double and a single and Michala Brown doubled and singled to drive in two runs.
In the second game, Ouzts tripled, doubled and singled to drive in three runs, Ciomei drove in three runs with a homer and two singles, Nutter drove in five runs with a homer and a singlke and Julie Hutchins had two doubles and a single with an RBI.
