GOULDSBORO — A Gouldsboro man was injured Friday morning when his car ran over him, police said.
Sgt. Jim Malloy said Lenny Carter, 51, of South Gouldsboro Road was getting into his Dodge Neon about 10:13 a.m. when it began rolling backward.
“The car was a standard and was parked on a hill,” Malloy said. “As he got in he slipped and fell and the car rolled over him.”
Malloy said the car rolled over Carter’s right upper body, causing injury to his shoulder and arm and resulting in a number of cuts and scrapes.
He said Carter was transported to Maine Coast Memorial Hospital. He was listed in stable condition Friday afternoon.
