The cookout will be held at Peninsula Metamorphic Arts and Learning, 139 Mines Road in Blue Hill (www.pmalcenter.com), from 5 to 8 p.m.
There will be a brief informational meeting and a time to share ideas.
All are invited, and new members can join at the event. Donations will be accepted to pay for use of the facility.
