Riots Trample Bucks

ORONO — At Mahaney Diamond in Orono on Wednesday, Bryce Mehnert threw a no-hitter as the Red Riots earned a five-inning 11-1 shutout over the Bucksport Golden Bucks.

Justin White hit a three-run triple for Orono during an eight-run third inning. Cameron Dwyer provided an RBI double.

Bucksport scored its run with the aid of three Red Riot errors.
