In the May 17 story about the Hancock Town Meeting, it was reported that funding requests from nonprofits were approved at the selectmen’s recommended reduced levels.
The funding was approved at the level requested by the nonprofits, as was urged by Steve Crabtree.
He spoke after voters approved the first request from the Ellsworth Public Library at the lower level recommended by selectmen.
