I had a nice visit with chatting with Karen Anderson recently, and she was happy to share with me that Julie and Keith Westcott just returned from a visit with Aaron and Torie in Georgia. While visiting, they were able to meet Torie’s family. They had a wonderful time. Karen also shared that Aaron has some more schooling to do before he leaves for Afghanistan.

Parents of Mountain View students were treated to another wonderful school concert this month. The gymnasium was transformed into a festival of springtime with artwork from the students decorating the stage and lobby. Music teacher Mr. Andrew Young has certainly been working hard with the students, and it was apparent by the great performances.

To serve as a reminder, the Rails to Trails are open, and users are very eager to get out and use the trails. There are several trail crossings throughout town, so please keep an eye out for those not adhering to the stop signs.

A gracious “Thanks” to the Veterans Club and Boy Scout Troop 81 for hanging the American flags on the poles throughout town.
