ELLSWORTH — The Hancock County Branch of the American Association of University Women will hold a yard sale on Saturday, May 19, to raise money for the scholarship fund. The sale will feature books, baked goods, plants and other items. It will be held at 29 Forest Ave. (corner of Shore Road and Forest Avenue) from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The local branch supports women students at the Hancock County Higher Education Center of the University of Maine System in Ellsworth. The mission of AAUW is to advance equity for women and girls through advocacy, education, philanthropy and research.
