BAR HARBOR — College of the Atlantic’s Ethel H. Blum Gallery is featuring the work of senior Alonso Diaz-Rickards, who has created nine oil paintings purely of textures.
These paintings – of cardboard, cloth, paper, wood, and more – are focused on the details of the texture that they edge into abstraction. The exhibit will be on view between May 21 and 25, with an opening on Monday, May 21, at 4 p.m.
