ELLSWORTH — The James Russell Wiggins Down East Family YMCA will hold its fourth annual “Dare to Tri” Sprint Triathlon on Saturday.
The event includes a 525-yard swim, a 13.4-mile bike ride and a 3.1-mile run.
The cost is $35 for an individual entry or $75 for a team entry, and registration is going on now.
Applications are available on the YMCA Race Schedule page.
The pool will open for warm-ups and event day registration will begin at 7 a.m. The competition begins at 8.
