Eagles Finish with Flurry to Down Minutemen

Written by  Hugh Bowden Saturday, May 12, 2012 at 12:43 pm

MILLINOCKET — A suicide squeeze by Harrison Vinall in the top of the seventh knotted the score and opened the floodgates as GSA came up with six runs to down the Stearns Minutemen 7-1 on Friday.

Schuyler Van der Eb went the distance on the mound for GSA, striking out five and scattering six hits.

Ben Olivari doubled and drove in two runs for the Eagles, who had just five hits.
