CASTINE — Andrew DiSalvo (Glastonbury, Conn.) will represent Maine Maritime Academy at the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association's (USILA) North/South All-Star Game. DiSalvo will play for the North quad under the direction of Dave Campbell, who wrapped up his sixth season at Middlebury College.

DiSalvo is the Mariners' first North/South All-Star selection. He wrapped up his career at the top of the heap in points at Maine Maritime with 232. His 122 goals are second in Mariners' history, while his 110 assists mark the career record. He is the only player in Maine Maritime history to reach the 100-assist plateau. DiSalvo was named the North Atlantic Conference's (NAC) Player of the Year each of the last three seasons, and was the NAC Rookie of the Year as a freshman. The Marine Transportation Operations major graduated from Maine Maritime on May 5th.

The USILA/LAXWORLD North-South Game will be played on Friday, May 25, 2012 at Harvard Stadium. The game times are 3:00 p.m. for the Division III game and 5:30 p.m. for the Division I-II games. Tickets are five dollars ($5.00) and can be purchased at the game. These games will bring together 132 of the finest senior lacrosse players in the country. The North-South Game started in 1940.
