ELLSWORTH — The Ellsworth Duplicate Bridge Club held a regular open game on May 10.
Petko Petkov of Ellsworth and Vernon Thomas of Surry finished first.
Placing second were Ginger Dewing of Blue Hill and Michael Povich of Ellsworth.
Finishing third were Henry Chung of Surry and Mary Kellett of Brooklin.
Harriet Bowden and Ron Fillmore, both of Ellsworth, finished fourth.
The club also held a club charity championship game for the benefit of Robert and Mary’s Place on April 26.
Petkov and Thomas finished first in that game while Bowden and Fillmore were second.
Ed Soper and Tug White, both of Ellsworth, finished third, while Elvira Bass of Blue Hill and Don Liu of Bar Harbor were fourth.
The next game will be held on Thursday, May 24, at 6:30 p.m. at St. Dunstan’s Episcopal Church, 134 State St. in Ellsworth.
