BAR HARBOR — The Jesup Memorial Library and the newly launched Harborside Shakespeare Company are collaborating to host Shakespeare Open Mic Night at the library on Saturday, May 12, beginning at 7 p.m. This is an opportunity for all members of the community, regardless of age or experience, to step up to the microphone and share some of their favorite scenes, soliloquies and sonnets from the works of William Shakespeare.
Show up to read, watch or perform.
Participants can sign up at the door; a selection of Shakespearean texts will be provided. Refreshments will be served.
