ELLSWORTH — Two area teenagers were clocked driving 84 miles per hour in a 40-mph zone on Christian Ridge Road May 2.
Lt. Harold Page summoned Justin Thomas, 19, of Hancock and a 17-year-old Ellsworth boy on charges of exceeding the posted speed limit by 30 miles per hour or more.
Receiving Stolen Property
A young man and woman were arrested Sunday after stolen property and drug paraphernalia were discovered in their vehicle.
Hayley Lunt-Camber, 24, of Ellsworth was charged with receiving stolen property and illegal possession of hypodermic apparatus.
Zachary Rand, 21, of Southwest Harbor, was charged with receiving stolen property and violation of conditions of release.
Alleged stolen property in the vehicle included a backpack and GPS reported stolen from a vehicle on Hancock Street earlier that day.

Melody Paul, 31, Orono, operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of an intoxicant.
Jennifer Moon, 22, Surry, operating after suspension.
Colon Haskell, 34, Ellsworth, passing stopped school bus with lights flashing.
Maynard Hardison, 23, Sullivan, bail violation.
Michael Zboray, 45, Surry, operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of an intoxicant.
Juanita Gardiner, 50, Fletcher’s Landing, operating after suspension and towing an unregistered trailer.
Burglary
A foreclosed home on Red Bridge Road was broken into May 3. It appeared someone had kicked in a door, damaging the door frame. Nothing of value appeared to be missing, according to police.
Vehicle parts and tools were reported stolen from an unoccupied Condon Way residence May 2.
Accident
A fallen shovel contributed to a May 2 accident on Bucksport Road.
Julia Clark, 40, of Orland was traveling east and stopped after the shovel fell off the back of a truck and into the road. Margaret Carter, 59, of Ellsworth stopped behind Clark’s vehicle.
A third car, driven by Briana Garrity, 30, of Ellsworth, failed to stop and struck the rear of Carter’s vehicle. Carter’s vehicle was then pushed into Clark’s.
Clark complained of neck pain at the scene.
Vandalism
Police are investigating vandalism reported at Meadow View Apartments May 1.
A vehicle was vandalized in the Walmart parking lot April 30.
Abandoned Kittens
A woman and her children discovered two abandoned kittens in a tire at a dump site on Mama Bear Road last week.
The kittens were taken to the Small Animal Clinic.

Kathryn Walsh, 49, Southwest Harbor, 39 mph in a 25-mph zone on Water Street May 1.
Genevieve Billings, 40, Lamoine, 65 mph in a 55-mph zone on Route 1 April 30.
Jennifer Moon, 22, Surry, 49 mph in a 25-mph zone on Bridge Hill April 30.
