ELLSWORTH — A report Friday of an underage drinking party in Orland led to a summons for a person living in the residence.
Alecia Smith, 24, was summoned on a charge of furnishing a place for minors to consume alcohol.
Thefts
State police investigated numerous burglary and theft complaints during the past 10 days.
On Friday, Trooper Chris Smith investigated the theft of copper from a camp in Aurora. Thefts recently were reported at two other camps in the area.
Later that same day, Smith investigated a burglary in Sullivan in which costume jewelry was taken.
Also on Friday, a barrel used as a flowerpot was taken from the driveway of a home in Verona Island.
Lawn-mowing equipment reportedly was stolen May 3 from a home in Franklin.
On May 2, gas tanks were reported stolen in Stonington.
Police are investigating the May 1 report of a theft from a vehicle parked in Dedham.
Items are missing after a May 1 break-in at a camp in Aurora.
