MDI Splits With Bapst

BANGOR — The Mount Desert Island Trojan boys’ and girls’ tennis teams split matches against the John Bapst Crusaders on Monday, the girls winning 5-0 and the boys losing 4-1.

At first doubles, Andrew Dalton and Caleb Cough posted the only win for the MDI boys, 8-3.

At singles, Luke Horton lost 8-2, Garrett Lee fell 8-3 and Ian Sampson lost 8-4.

For the girls, Mea Clark won 8-2 at first singles, Julia Christie won 8-3 at second singles and Mia Musetti won 8-0 at third singles. At first doubles, Madeline Cook and Caroline Brown won 8-0. Dylan Stillman and Allie Stanley won 8-1 at second doubles.
