BAR HARBOR — A bases-loaded triple by Molly Carroll in the third inning was the big blow for the MDI Trojans in a 7-2 win over the Ellsworth Eagles on Saturday.

MDI’s Hannah Shaw scattered four hits and had a shutout until the sixth inning when the Eagles scored two runs.

Emily Berry had an RBI single and Katherine Jordan doubled for Ellsworth in that inning.

Shelby O’Neil had a double and a single, Danika Kanu singled twice and Abbie Burton and Shaw each singled to drive in a run for the Trojans, who upped their record to 6-1 with the win.
