Patricia LeVeque Heilner

BLUE HILL — Patricia LeVeque Heilner, 84, passed away peacefully Saturday, May 5, 2012. She was born March 23, 1928, in Columbus, Ohio, the daughter of Leslie and Elsa LeVeque.

She was a generous and spirited woman, an avid sailor and extremely devoted to her family. She loved flowers, tennis and the George Stevens Academy jazz bands and combos.

Patty was predeceased by her husband, David Heilner; her brother, Frederick LeVeque; and her sister, Betty Niehoff. She is survived by her son, Marcus, his wife, Pam, and their children, Peter, Lincoln and Loan of Johannesburg, South Africa; her son, Frederick, his wife, Prudy, and their children, Madeline and Alexander of Blue Hill; her son, David, his wife, Karen, and his children, Nicholas and Esko of North Yarmouth; her daughter, Elsa Marsh, her husband, Jay, and their children, James, Matilda and Thomas of Blue Hill; and her daughter, Gretchen McCondochie, her husband, Alasdair and their daughter, Calumina, of Kensington, Calif. The family wishes to thank her caregivers for love, support and thoughtful attention during her final years.

A memorial service will be held later in August. In lieu of flowers, gifts in her memory may be sent to Peninsula Montessori School, 273 Sedgwick Ridge Road, Sedgwick, ME 04676, George Stevens Academy, 23 Union St., Blue Hill, ME 04614 and/or Parsonage Fund First Congregational Church of Blue Hill, P.O. Box 444, Blue Hill, ME 04614.
