ORLAND — The public is invited to come enjoy nightlife in the Great Pond Mountain Wildlands with a series of Friday night hikes on May 18 and 25 and June 1 and 8, from 7:30 to 9 p.m.
All ages are welcome. Hikers should bring bug spray and warm clothing. No dogs, please.
The May 18 and 25 hikes will meet the South Gate, the June 1 hike will meet at the North Gate and the June 8 hike will meet at the Craig Brook National Fish Hatchery in East Orland.

A Wildlands path work party is also scheduled for Saturday, May 19, at 9 a.m.
Volunteers should meet at the Wildlands South Gate on Route 1 and bring work gloves, bug spray, water, a snack and your favorite trail tool(s).
