Written by  Mark Good Friday, May 04, 2012 at 2:37 pm

ELLSWORTH — An Ellsworth man learned Saturday that his alleged use of a stolen truck to get his Jeep unstuck was not a good idea.

According to Trooper Christopher Smith, Jack “JD” Wentworth Jr., 26, crashed a Jeep Grand Cherokee in Waltham. Wentworth then allegedly broke into a garage near the accident scene and stole the truck, which he then used in an unsuccessful attempt to free the Jeep. The truck later was found on a woods road in Sullivan.

After interviewing Wentworth, the trooper arrested him on charges of burglary, unauthorized use of property and criminal mischief.
