BUCKSPORT — Righthander Cassidy Adams turned in another strong pitching performance, scattering six hits and striking out 15 as the Bucksport Golden Bucks downed the Orono Red Riots 4-1 on Monday.
Mindy Pye doubled and singled twice to drive in a run and Sadie Wight had a runs-scoring double for the Golden Bucks, who had nine hits off Orono pitcher Abbi Foster.
Foster had a pair of doubles and Chloe Douglass had a two-run double for the Red Riots.
