BANGOR — The MDI Trojans notched their third win as they edged the John Bapst Crusaders 3-2 on Thursday.
Sierra Myrick singled and scored what proved to be the winning run on a single by Hannah Shaw with two outs in the top of the eighth inning.
The Crusaders cut the lead to a single run on an RBI single by Rilee Walker, the only hit allowed by MDI’s Shaw, in the bottom of the eighth.
Shaw finished with 15 strikeouts.
