BAR HARBOR — For one night only, dancers of all ages and in many genres will perform their annual rite of spring: the Mount Desert Island High School dance concert.
Every year students and community artists take the stage of the Higgins-Demas Theater to present works created in the many forms of dance. This year will be no different, with tap, ballet, jazz, modern and gymnastic solo and group dance works on the program. Among the groups performing will be the high school’s newly formed dance club, students of local dance instructors and members of the high school’s state champion show choir.
The performance is set for Saturday, April 28, at 7 p.m. at the Mount Desert Island High School Higgins-Demas Theater. Suggested donation is $6.
